Iditarod Professional Photo Tour
|
|||||||||||||
Our Iditarod Pro Photo Tour is tailored to meet the needs of the professional photographer covering the Iditarod race. The Super Cub is the best fixed wing aircraft available for aerial photography. Well flown it performs like a helicopter. It also provides the flexibility to land practically anywhere along the Iditarod trail, for once in a lifetime photo opportunities. Depending on conditions we can land at all the checkpoints and remote places like Rainy Pass, the Nulato Hills and on the Sea Ice. Our all inclusive trip provides for all the logistics on the 10-12 day Iditarod trip. We also have the flexibility to visit secret hot springs accessible best by air. All food and lodging are taken care of. Lodging arrangements vary depending on the clients needs and the circumstances on the trail. Typical arrangements include hotel, cabin or lodge and village schools. Typically we will overnight in Skwetna, Puntilla Lake (Rainy Pass), McGrath, Ophir or Takotna, Anvik or Ruby, Unalakleet, Elim or White Mountain. The client is responsible for travel to and from Anchorage and Nome. We can accommodate media needs such as hi-speed internet connections for uploading footage and articles. On the 2007 Iditarod we can take from 1-3 clients.
